For these reasons we feel like it is time to open up to the world these undisclosed treasures of Africa, for anyone interested in taking a program of nature and culture, adventure and long transfers by vehicle for over 700 km. Kidepo Valley National Park covers 1.442 sq km in the extreme North eastern corner of Uganda. Note: please be informed that we shall check the security of the roads at the moment of departure.

Uganda Vacation Safari

Day 1 - Kampala / Moroto Early morning you leave Kampala towards Mbale the capital town of the Bagisu people. Lunch en route. The journey proceeds with destination the little town of Moroto through Namalu and entering the Karamoja region and its semi-arid land. The sceneries are stunning and unusual for the Ugandan traveler. Dinner and overnight at Don Vittorio Guest House in Moroto.

FB Day 2 - Moroto in Karamoja After breakfast you spend the day to encounter and discover the culture and people of Karamoja through the facilitation of local cooperation projects. In the morning visit Lopotuk villages and the dispensary. Return to the guesthouse for lunch. In the afternoon meet the youth of the youth centre and you can request to assist local performances, music and dance. This is not a proper "tourist" activity, if you consider that only few visitors reach up to these places. You will learn a lot from the people you meet here. Dinner and overnight at Don Vittorio Guesthouse in Moroto. FB Day 3 - Kidepo Valley National Park After breakfast, the trip proceeds Northwards via Kaabong and Kotido to reach Kidepo Valley National Park. This is named after the river traversing this region at the border between Sudan and Kenya, region characterized by mountains, hills and savannah. One of the most unspoiled and wild places remaining in Africa - and we like it like that. Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at UWA bandas. The accommodation is modest but comfortable, with hot water and flash toilets available. Mostly, the touch and immersion in the nature of the park is a guarantee if you wish to take a true experience. FB Day 4 - Kidepo Valley National Park After breakfast go for photographic game drives along the trails of the national park. Especially, expect to explore the region of the river Narus valley. Kidepo contains one of the most exciting faunas of any Ugandan parks, with over 80 species of mammals several of which restricted only to Kidepo, like cheetah, striped hyena and caracal. The bird list boasts over 465 species. A part from the game drive, on request you might organize a visit to the local Karimojong homestead or manyattas. Full board and overnight at UWA bandas. FB

Uganda Gorilla Tour

Day 5 - Kitgum and the Acholiland Go for another game drive in Kidepo then proceed the journey through the Acholiland to Kitgum. You might be interested to stop at a refugee camp along the way. Dinner and overnight in Kitgum, at Boma Hotel. FB

Day 6 - Kampala End of the program with return back to Kampala by evening.
